Econodek Vinyl Decking

Roll-On Adhesive
Econodek Roll-On adhesive is a fast curing water-based latex adhesive which is used as a one-sided transfer application. This means you roll the glue onto the deck and lay the Econodek vinyl into it when it is wet. Econodek Roll-On can be used on plywood and above grade suspended slab concrete as well as on vertical surfaces. Roll-On is our best adhesive and a key component of our outdoor deck flooring materials. It helps to decrease installation time while eliminating the use of harmful solvent-based adhesives.
Deck Patch
Our proprietary Deck Patch is a modified polymer cement-based compound. It is a dry powder formula available in 5 lb and 10 lb pails for easy transportation. Econodek Deck Patch helps to create a smooth surface and an important part of the installation process. We mix and apply Deck Patch to plywood joints and knot holes or imperfections in the substrate such as de-lamination, voids, and knots. The Deck Patch drys to a hard, smooth surface while maintaining excellent mixing and workability in its non-cured form.
Liquid Weld
There are many details in vinyl decking that have overlapping vinyl panels that need to be sealed together. The two options available for Econodek are using a hot air welder or a solvent weld which is what we suggest for most homeowners. A hot air welder is not a common tool for outdoor deck flooring materials and it takes a lot of practicing to learn how to weld Econodek PVC vinyl membranes. Econodek Liquid Weld has fast drying and cure time as well as a 125 lb pull strength with a 1 1/2″ overlap seam. Liquid weld lets you fuse two Econodek panels together without the need for a hot air welder. Use liquid weld for all overlapping panel seams as well as patches, post collars, and door sill wraps.
L-Trim Termination Bar
Our Econodek L-Trim Termination Bar is a simple and effective deck edge mechanical fastener that terminates the Econodek vinyl over the outside edge of the deck. It completes the deck kit and the look of your Econodek installation. Used by both DIYers and Professionals alike L-Trim is available in four great colors; grey, black, tan, and white. Econodek L-Trim is used in conjunction with our butyl tape and color coated wood screws that match our trims. L-Trim comes in 6′ lengths for easy shipping and handling.
